How does the Jeep Gladiator perform?

This year, the Jeep Gladiator only offers two engine options. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter gasoline V6 capable of 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine has a full-time 4WD configuration and a 6-speed manual gearbox. You have an 8-speed automatic option for the two-pedal lovers, and both are rated at 19 mpg efficiency.

The other engine option is the new diesel V6 that generates 260 horsepower and a massive 442 pound-feet of torque. This engine is available on the Sport, Overland, and Rubicon trims and is paired only with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It is more efficient than the gasoline engine and is rated at 22/28 mpg.

How is the safety and technology of the new Gladiator?

There is plenty of technology in the new Gladiator to keep even the tech-savvy drivers happy. The infotainment display is a touchscreen with HD graphics and quick response times. Jeep's Uconnect is easy to use, and there is a mix of buttons and knobs that supplement the touchscreen controls.
